Adopting a Cat
The process of adopting a cat is designed to ensure a good match for both you and the cat. You’ll have the chance to meet available cats at our adoption events and find one whose personality fits well with you. After speaking with the rescue staff, you will complete an adoption application and pay the adoption fee. Same day adoptions available for most cats. All cats are spay/neutered before adoption, are microchipped and have the age-appropriate vaccinations.
Donate FOod or Supplies
Donating food or supplies is a simple but powerful way to support a cat rescue. Shelters are always in need of essentials like cat food, litter, cleaning supplies, toys, and bedding. We maintain a wish list on Chewy, making it easy to know exactly what’s needed most. These donations help reduce operating costs, allowing more resources to go toward medical care and rescuing additional cats.

Cassie’s Kitten Cradle is a Northern Michigan based animal rescue focused on saving feline lives. Our mission is focused on rescuing, fostering and rehoming cats and kittens. We participate in community events to help find homes for the cats and kittens in our care. We are identified as one of the specialized, smaller, non-profit rescue organizations in the region.
Get Involved
Getting involved with a cat rescue is a meaningful way to make a difference in the lives of animals in need.
You can volunteer by joining our team at Petco adoption events or by fostering a cat in your home until they find a permanent family.
Donations of food, or supplies are always valuable, and even sharing adoptable cats on social media helps increase their chances of finding homes.
Whether you have a little time or a lot, every contribution supports the rescue’s mission and helps give cats a second chance.
